Can you build me a long wheelbase cabrio G-Wagen?

Yes we can. We specialize in both the SWB Cabrio and LWB Cabrio.

Do you build any G-Wagens other than the 250GD?

Yes we do.

We have historically focused on the 250GD Wolf given its desirability with its SWB body style, frameless windows and fold-down windshield. However, if you are looking for a LWB, 4-door, or hardtop, we can certainly make that happen. We have restored and delivered over 175 builds to date.

The vintage (over 25 years old) Geländewagen, or G-Wagon, or G-Wagen, or G comes in the following models, but is not limited to:

300GD
290GD
250GD
240GD
320GE
300GE
280GE
230GE

How long is this going to take?

Build times are dependent on your body selection. Short Wheelbase builds take 5 months and Long Wheelbase builds take 7 months.

For those who do not want to wait, we maintain a small inventory of Gs that are available for delivery right away. Our current selection can be found here.

The How

The process starts with a 30% deposit to secure a build slot.

We follow the 30/30/40 rule.

1. 30% of cost as a 1st deposit.

2. We finalize the spec together and your G is conceived.

3. We take the second 30% at the time of painting.

4. The remaining 40% is due at the time of shipping

For the exterior finish, you can spec a color from our curated collection, provide any manufacturer’s paint code, or work with our paint-to-sample department.

For interior selection, we’ll send you a swatch book with over 35 colors to choose from.

Can you restore my G-Wagen?

No can do.

Where do you source your Geländewagens?

Our donor Gs are sourced from all over the world.

As our customers have a strong demand for cabrios, we maintain first right of refusal contracts with several European militaries for their units.  These contracts allow us to choose the vehicles we want to work on to provide our clients with the best possible G.
